"She’s completely alone. She is heartbroken. She’s about to go and bury her very last family member. This is not only painful, but she realises that her life is about to change for the worse. She has no money, no income, no rights and her livelihood that depended solely on a male relative has disappeared.
She slowly but gracefully tries to compose herself and is grateful for the life she was able to have before now. She can hear the mourners crying and wailing outside her small, humble dwelling. How long would she be able to keep her little home?
She swipes her tears as they begin falling rapidly down her face again. She hasn’t stopped crying since her only son had died.
She sinks on the old wooden chair next to her son’s bed and sobs into her hands."
Luke 7:15-16 “The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother. They were all filled with awe and praised God. “A great prophet has appeared among us,” they said. “God has come to help his people.”
